Indescribable.
A kiss, a touch,
Is all that it takes,
To make the biggest
Of big mistakes.

A word, a hum,
Is all that's needed
To make a person feel
Satisfied and completed.

A walk to here,
A walk to there.
It doesn't matter when;
Doesn't matter where.

Wanting to be wanted;
Needing to be needed.
Always fighting, and
Getting defeated.

Running and running,
To get where he is;
Getting me nowhere,
Like a hit and miss.

Shock, despair, and
Sorrow fill the air.
I try reaching out,
But there's nobody there.

He gets further away,
As I scurry toward him.
The light, it's fading,
It's getting more dim.

The tunnel is closing;
I can't catch my breath.
I am alone in this world now,
A cruel defense test.

I lie on the floor,
Of the dark place I'm in.
Inviting the cold dampness,
To find me within.

I cannot see,
Nor can I hear.
In this place of loneliness,
I was swallowed by fear.
