I loved her
I lived for her
I wanted her
I needed her
She became me
I became her
As two we found one
Under the tedious sun
We made it work
At least for a time
At least for awhile
But then one dark day
In an impossible way
She wanted more
Every damn bit
All of it
What a bitch
That whore
Loosely meaning of course
Angrily exaggerated
Slanted in remembrance
A method of dealing
Villainizing her existence
Such accusations not true
Well maybe just a few
Often she could be heard
Thoroughly demanding
Give me all that is yours
Make it mine
I want it right now
It will always belong to me
Free and clear
Without a single fear
No debts attached
No price unnegotiated
I was always meant to pay
And let me assure you of this
The interest has been hell
Such a girl expected the world
She deserved what she ultimately got
And before you speak
Before you condemn
I know what you are gonna say
About such referencing
But she was all those things
And so much more
I once deeply loved her
But then
I hated myself for doing so
I once worshiped her every wish
Her every want became mine
I did all that I could
To give her everything she needed
But for her it was never enough
The more I gave the more she took
Until everything that I was
Was picked clean from my bones
Only then did she leave me alone
Only then did she turn away
Finding another
To fill her empty ways
And
When she was done with him
She moved on to another
And then many others
Such a girl expected the world
She would never be happy
How could she ever be
Impossible
To this day we do not speak
To this day we do not communicate
But I know for certain
Without a single strain of doubt
That both her and I agree
That both her and I equally share
Such an aggrieves view of each other…
