Who wants to live forever without Grace?
Withered and dying
Bleeding and crying
Hot wind is sighing
Phoenix expiring
Riven

Seventy-six deaths
Desperate last breaths
No chance to confess
No hand to caress
Riven

Collapsed on the shore
Can't take any more
Eternally sore
Won't pray like before
Riven

The end is at hand
As if it was planned
And upon the sand
Phoenix ashes land
Riven

The pain fades away
Then dawns a new day
All sullen and gray
No hope on the way
Riven

In circles life goes
It ebbs and it flows
Years passing like blows
All comes to a close
Riven

The Son rises now!
All creatures should bow
But some don't know how
And onward they plow
Riven

A Hand on the yoke!
Stabbed with shards of oak
Dressed in blood-stained cloak
Pierced feet wreathed in smoke
Riven

Phoenix sees His face
Tired heart starts to race
It all falls in place
He's bringing us grace!
Grace

His death brings release
Phoenix life can cease
No more elbow grease
Now eternal peace
Peace
