A mans heart breaks has he watches his wife slip further and further away
I move the strand of hair
that covers your eyes
and watch you sleep.
Noticing my movement
You turn, face the other way.
My heart bleeds out
But you don't hear my silent tears
I try to hold your hand
but the grip absorbs
into the cool night air
And I, I just lay
Destroyed
