To be blind must be horrendous, to never see your family, the man/woman you love. To start life again, differently, having to learn new steps. To feel trapped, perhaps? However, you have to admire those who are blind, to build strength and never feel defeated. I love this prose because it grips you from the beginning, you instantly feel sadness, but then as you carry on reading you realise that although your blind you have people in your who are willing to help and be there for you and to carry on loving you
