A friend was in the hospital, I wrote this hoping to put a little cheer into her day.
Attitude to keep, while in the Hospital.

Laugh, in the face of every pain.
Scoff, at any diagnosis.
Smirk, when they run the tubes.
Chuckle, when they bring in the needles
Grin, when the pills arrive.

And when you leave
Achy, but whole, hungry but able
Know that the prognosis is good.
So, Smile, you’re going home.
Cry only… when you, get the Bill.
