A misterious package with change the couples life forever.
John stepped to his front porch and picked up the mysterious package, shook it around, and searched for a return address. He brought it inside and placed it on the kitchen table beside his cup of coffee.

“Allison, we have a package without a return address. It’s on the kitchen table. I’m on my way to work.”

Allison walked into the kitchen, kissed John goodbye, and sat at the kitchen table in front of the large, brown package. The odor put a face of disgust on her face as she went to open it. It had the sent of a rotting corpse. She made her way to the phone to call John.

“John, this package smells horrible! It smells like… something dead.”

“Well wait until I get home. Stick it outside so it doesn’t stink up the whole damn house.”

“Okay. I’m going to pick up Charlie from school. Just come home on your lunch break.”

“I’ll be there.”

Allison arrived at the school to pick up Charlie. She was late. A cold breeze in the air sent chills down her spine as she made her way to the office.

“I’m here to pick up Charlie.”

“Someone already came to pick him up.”

“It was probably my husband.” Allison sai
