that feeling halfway between awake and asleep
that feeling halfway
                                      between asleep
and awake.

darkness surrounds
                                      your mind
or does it?

things seem so clear
                                      lucid thoughts
shed light on your fears

your insecurities
                                      your dreams
intimacy. complete.

time moves slowly
                                      and fast
and forward and back.

a brief moment of clarity
                                      in reality
before you lose yourself in dreams.
