Only one can win in a contest of this kind.
The Killer and his Prey

There is a killer out there. Watching. Waiting.
He is cold blooded and hopes for a victim.
His senses in his body are pulsating.

His plan to strike his prey is when light is dim.
He uses speed to surprise his lonely prey.
Once he seizes this prey, the outcome is grim.

There is a struggle. Soon the strong wins today.
The victim sees the last soft ray of sunlight.
There is no hope as he is carried away.

The killer closes the door. He eats tonight.
His tunnel has been filled with raw death before.
Only the killer’s eight eyes witness the sight.

The prey filled, trap door spider will need no more.
This catch was easy and more than he hoped for.

Got ya!
This is a Terza Rima Sonnet that is a little more complicated than the other ones I have done.
There is an eleven syllable count per line. The rhyme scheme is aba, bcb, cdc, ded, ee.
