You ever heard someone say "They don't make things like they used to". Its true for a lot of things. I bought my house about 8 years ago and there was a dishwasher and a built in microwave in it. I even found the manuals from like I think 1982. They were old, however they worked great and the dishwasher even had a heater part and it still worked. I didn't even know they had that back then!! The microwave handle broke, however we discovered that you can use a shoe lace and it can work as a handle for over a year! Well my wife and I decided we needed newer nicer looking appliances. We bought a new fridge, dishwasher, and Microwave. How could this go wrong. We got the same awesome brand and they were new and nice!!!!! YEAH - NOT! My microwave still looks great yet it broke a long time ago and the piece to fix it cost the same as the whole thing cost. It lasted about a year! The dishwasher!!! Let me tell ya. The first one lasted about maybe two years and then we had a friend that bought us a new one when that one died and that lasted HMMMMM maybe a year. It's crazy - sometimes things just are not what they used to be. Today I went to a garage sale. I love garage sales - SHOUT OUT TO MY GARAGE SALERS ALL OVER THE WORLD - "Thats whats up" - Anyways at the sale I saw it. I saw it from the van before I even got out. I was like - "There it is" - A new "OLD" dishwasher. I rolled up on it. Started checking it out. The guy came up and I had my game face on. He did not have a clue how excited I was, But Then - YEAH - I told him my life story! We ended up going from $75 to him quickly saying - If I wanted it I could have it for $50. I ended up getting it for $40 and a free lawn cut! Thats a great deal for a new "OLD" dishwasher. They dont make things like they used to, however there is one thing that never changes "JESUS CHRIST" You will never have to go get a new one or feel said cause he broke down, because he won't Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ never changes. Thank God we can though. I am glad that we can break down and through Christ find freedom and a way to live on and work right forever. If you ever feel like you failed, Your broke, Your alone, There is no way....... Thats not true. God makes things like he used to and you are one of them. You are one of his perfect creations. You are one of his greatest accomplishments. You are one of the kids that he points at and says - "Thats my child" Never forget who you are, where your from, who your brother is, and who your father is. God made you just like he's use to - PERFECT!
