Marijuana "There is a way out" - Matt Bold with Christian Hip Hop Hits Just as Hard
I started smoking marijuana when I was 12 or 13 and loved it. It was such a good high. One of the things I liked the most was it was fun, especially when there were friends there to join in. Though out the years my habit grew and I invested more and more. Think about that - I invested! It took me to places at ages that one would think I should never go to! Without protection I may not have made it back. I loved the high, so the fear of were I was going was overpowered by the certainty and lack of fear, due to what I wanted. I was arrested a couple times along the way. Think about this - I was in shackles in my mind and in reality it lead to shackles on my wrists. I was locked and bound by something I loved. At this point in my life the number of years I was bound, surpasses the number of years I was not. Its almost 2 fold! Vices creep like weeds. They start out just like any other seed, Small. The difference is they camouflage themselves and before you know it they take over good ground and then good fruit. I invested possibly $100,000 over the many years all together. Thats a 1450 sq foot house with a 500 sq foot garage, a 2001 ford expedition, a 1980 ford F150, $5000 worth of equipment, and food for a family of 7 for over a year, were I live. The things I listed are the things we have and of that $100,000 worth of stuff, I still owe around $73,000. In that aspect it has slowed me down in the fact that now the money I could use in other area's I have to pay this debt that didn't have to exist. On top of that burden one out weighs it more. My walk. I learned so much over the years. One thing is that when we are in bondage we can't even see past our view. Yes I did learn so much, yet I wonder what I could have learned with a better view. One thing I just learned recently is not only did I cause doubt in my mind and life, I gave it to others around me. I should have been showing love, but I shared selfishness. The sad part was I didn't even know. Thats what the enemy will do. He will cause confusion so that you don't even no when he is in control of your mind. With a clearer perspective this all came to light. The darkness came to light with a different view. One might ponder what could have been. I am choosing to get my return on the huge investment I made. I invested maybe $100,000, years of my focus, trust in me from others, and so much more if I invest more time thinking on it. Here is were the investment gets a return. If you are struggling with this vice or any other vice (stronghold, fault, guilt, blame, shame, SIN, the list goes on and on) PLEASE I plead with you to learn from my mistakes. Destiny will change for you. If you choose to share this knowledge with others generations will grow. $100,000 was such a small seed to the potential harvest. AMEN -
