The Birth of Emotions

Out of the darkness pleasant thoughts flutter downward on a peaceful journey into the endless and vast labyrinths of a young,  yet innocent, mind. As soft and gentle as leaves of Autumn drifting on a balmy breeze they go. One pictures them as if viewing through a dimly lit window within the vast complexity of that mind. Twisting, turning, rising, falling, ever changing in form and direction, until settling gently and firmly into it's own place of Nature's intended destiny. It now blends and becomes one more tiny speck within another beautiful, yet unfinished masterpiece of mental and emotional landscapes.. Then, as if a sudden powerful gust of wind has loosened them, many thousands more come from above, they all tumble and follow suit, flaring and subsiding until each one seeks out and finds it's perfect companion.  Love is born. It begins inflating rapidly intending to dwell forever in a form of unfathomed emotional contentment we simply called love.
Through passage of time, different thoughts and angry emotions of pain, torment, and deceit descend to wreck havoc as they tear through the soft mountains among the peaceful existence of that love. Casting asunder the tranquility within, leaving only misery as fear rages and rumbles until it gradually subsides much like the passage of a destructive hurricane. Gone for the moment but returning constantly and more violent each time. One more battle of the seemingly endless war of emotions between two passionate worlds, love and hate. Again and again until evil dominates and the gentle thoughts begin to deflate and cease to form becoming lost in a sea of confused agony and despair. Soon the cold and cruel darkness returns to eternity as this love ebbs once more into utter nothingness.
