Under the full moon, the creatures danced.
Under the full moon, the creatures danced.
Whirling to a melody only they could hear,
In a circle they swayed and pranced,
Frolicking to the music of the spheres.

It was the first night of spring,
They were free to rejoice,
Free to open their mouths and sing,
Free to praise in a human voice.

Their song echoed across the Earth,
Their dance shook the planet's foundations,
Generating the world's rebirth,
Begetting a new creation.

Deep within the planet's core,
Ancient beings awoke from sleep,
Entities from mythological lore,
Toward Earth's surface began to creep.

A new epoch began that night,
An age that would test both faith and doubt,
An era full of darkness and light,
But that's what life's dance is all about.
