A poem I had written at the age of 13. One of my best.
I heard her sing a beautiful song,
I climbed the fence and stared hard and long,
She was sitting down indeed,
She is what I love, want, and mostly need.
But there she was another girl,
Her appearance made my stomach curl.
I hopped down and heard her run,
She was after me and not in fun.
I ran so scared for the sake of my life,
I heard a sound like unsheathe of a knife.
I tripped and fell and looked behind,
and there she was the knife up high.
She thrust down and stuck me good,
I looked down and saw the blood.
There she was she had a grin,
I was dead not a move of my hand.
I woke up beside a lake,
It was odd I felt so safe.
I looked around so safe and sound,
and felt as if I was space bound.
I looked so close and saw the flames,
this was hell for me today.
I looked over to see her again,
And she was there with knife and grin. ~Tiger Of a Dream~
