An acrostic.

Sorrowful is the face that looks upon
a memory gone by,
always wondering how he is
doing, is he happy, is he flourishing, is he cherished--
overseas I left my heart behind,
understand I will come back to collect broken pieces of my soul
never known to anyone but him, so
every day I pledge, my son, I will return.
