Heart Condition

Life begins and ends with the heart.
It brings all the essential element to the body;
from life sustaining oxygen to healing medication;
the heart sustains our earthly existence.


But what of the heart of our soul?
What is its condition?
Is our heart sustaining faith like Job?
Is it delivering Love like Christ?


Lord, please examine
my heart condition
and lead me to do Your will;
with Christ-like conviction.
