Losing someone is hard.
To see the lights of her car fade away into the darkness
Two red dots soon to no longer be

It reminded of me of when her eyes met mine for the very first time- green with hope
Seeing them now is a sad sight to see. Gray with sadness.

Why must we be faced with uncertainty? With never knowing? Surely the creator of us, the 'all mighty' had a reason for making us suffer from the uncertainty of the future.

Future. That also reminds me of her. The future we made together, in the past. Sweet. Hopeful. Together.
The present says differently. The present has spoken with fate. Changing what we thought would be.
We.

The lights are gone now. They have been for quite a while. Still I stare though, into the space where she once was.
I wonder if she'll ever fill that space once more.
I wonder if she'll let me fill hers.
