A brief outlook on modern society loosely based on the novel 'American Psycho.'
The death of the homeless that nobody loves
Is one that goes unnoticed
No fingerprints for I wore gloves
To fuel my midnight lust

The murder of a student that nobody knows
Is one that draws no attention
Blood and tears across her clothes
Why can’t I feel remorse?

The death of a man that works Wall Street
Piques the interest of thousands
No matter what I do to hide my feat
I am caught for the murder of one

Alone I sit in a prison cell
Counting the voices in my head
‘You murdered them all’ they would all yell
Yet only trialled for one
