A short poem about life being boring enough to drive someone insane.
This life I lead is not for me

The never ending monotony

Men upon thrones

And mindless clones

No one here is free



This place I live is not for me

My soul is the rent and fee

Click click, click click

Tick tick, tick tick

In only my mind I can flee



I am free in every book I’ve read

And yet I cannot scream

I have no voice and no esteem

Poor me, poor me, I am out of steam

For I am already dead
