Max is in trouble
Max and the Dog

“Why are you doing this to me?” He screamed his head off at his mom.

“Because you won't listen to me.”

“I didn't do anything to him.” Tears flying everywhere.

“I watched you pull his ears, Max.”

“I was petting him. I shouldn't be in trouble. I didn't do it.”

“Then what did I see you do?”

“I was checking him for fleas.”

“I thought you were petting him.”

Max runs from the room screaming.
