A poem I wrote staring at a blank word document
A blank page
Carries so much
In its nothingness



An occupied page
Carries more to
The eye
But less at
The same time



The problem lies
When folks
Folks like me



Take these white
Sheets of raw
Potential
And ruin them



We ruin them
With our words
That we hold so dear



And with these ideas
We can never make clear
