Today I have played Professor Layton And The Azran Legacy on my 3DS. I'm almost at the end of the game, and what I found out was quite exciting.

The Azran civilization leaved all over the world very interesting ruins. The game explains it quite nice, but it was one of the populations strictly followed by some kind of hierarchy. Group of people ruled the others and made them to build these awesome buildings, mazes, hidden tunnels, weird sculptures on walls etc.

The story is also about their absolute power over people in those days. Azrans didn't have modern technologies, so one day they realized there is nothing more to take care of. Sure, hunger for the power leads to expansion, but once all of it is achieved, there is nothing much left to do.

Next logical step is to protect yourself against being mortal or at least keep this achievement alive no matter what. Egyptians build pyramids for that, other civilizations historical buildings and statues we know today, but the idea of the Azran monarchy weren't so shallow. They wanted to keep the whole thing alive.

So they frozen an innocent girl, she understand Azran writings, but have no idea about what's going on. Hoping, that someone with their kind of mentality will find her, then this library of thousands Azran tips and tricks and make it real in the future once again. That is the true spirit of legacy and having your name in everybody's mind!

Unfortunately Professor Layton lives in quite modern days with cars and stuff and he's dedicated archeologist. Its kind of sad that such masterplan was turned out this way just by one shot.

---

I think that almost every author or creator of something works that way. Even if it looks very different. We are so desperate for attention that once someone finally make it, he or she then build up the walls and start to do crazy things. Like spending most of the time in teaching other people how to write.

However good writing can't be driven solely by this purpose, because it will let you forget about what's important for normal people and the final product then just sucks.

Today I have received an upgraded membership from anonymous person!

Many thanks to you!

I got it for my effort of reviewing other writer's work at this site. While my true intentions are really selfish, it kind of touched me in a way. *Blush*

What I have learned so far is that nobody can create trully well-rounded story if its not read again from the different point of view.

It made me realise that once I decided to became writer, It was a good idea to focus on everything, but my true kind of perspective. I hope I can make it even better one day and that's what this is all about.
