A poem about the attraction two lovers feel for eachother. Inspired by... someone special.
I see you there...
I see you standing in your favorite shaft of moonlight...
The allure of wild ivy trailing through your lengthy raven hair...
Your body hidden, just barely, by untamed rose bushes...
Ah, the lilting, ivory tune of your voice as you sing out, for mine ears and mine alone...
How many ways do I love thee, my wild maiden...
And how many ways I must curse for never being able to have thee.

Silken fur fluffed soft as a kitten for me
shimmering bright under moolights leaf filtered glow
all I am yearns, aches, for you
for more.
but the thorns of a rose bush harbor no saftey
so I must wait to hold you just a little longer while I tame this wild world around me
just enough to hold without harming
