ups and downs of ones live.
The rust red, brick wall that she tightroped was two bricks wide,
One side being only three a inch fall from the wall unto
Thick, green spring grass, that would catch one almost like a pillow.
Other side being a two feet fall from the wall unto
White, broken up cement walkway.
For those readers who say two feet is not high, well, it is when dropped unto that rough cement.
She did not mind where her feet went as well as she should all the time,
Many times she fell unto the hard walkway.
Sometimes though, she would get lucky when she tripped,
She fell into thick, green grass.
She was not as young in years as she was in her heart,
But need to walk the narrow path for some reason always beckoned to her.
