Reviews would be so much appreciated.
A large screen covered the desk, rather than using textbooks, this school seemed to rely on this screen. There was a taskbar on the bottom of the screen revealing five boxes, most likely educational tools. There was also what seemed to be an electronic pen resting on the top side of the desk above of the screen. Our teacher, Mr.Klew turned his head towards my direction then opened his mouth,

"By the way Marcus, what ability do you have? Or are you just a normal Eleusis."

Looking straight into his eyes, with my usually cold and uncaring expression, I responded,

"I don't know what ability I have. But it's an ability that this person named Mischenny seems to acknowledge."

This answer earned a loud murmur between the students. Mr.Klew wore a puzzled look with one eyebrow raised.

"I see. Well that should be alright then. Everyone else be quiet."

The whole class instantly became dead silent, did they fear Mr.Klew, or were they just obedient? Mr.Klew reached into a black bag resting on his desk pulling out a device resembling a tablet.

"Alright guys, go to page 97, today's topic is logarithms."

Immediately, the sounds of tapping began to fill the room. Confused, I searched around to find out what I was meant to do. A student next me, a guy pointed at the red box on the bottom of the screen which read "Coldwater Maths". Tapping on the box, the screen turned all white which soon revealed a cover with "Maths by Coldwater" written across it. The student beside me pointed at the small little white box. Tapping on it, a keyboard popped up. Knowing what I had to do, I imputed the number 97 which directed me to paragraphs and a title named "Logarithms". The student smiled, showing white teeth which in return I ignored, not even giving so much as a thank you.

After a long one hour and forty minutes of nonstop maths, a bell began to ring throughout the classroom.

"That's it for today. See you guys again during PE class.

And with that, Mr.Klew left the room leaving the door open behind him. The room soon became a roar of chatter, with a few fellow students standing beside me.

"Hi Marcus, my name's Michael. Hope we get along" A student said with a cheerful attitude.

The boy sitting beside me who had helped earlier turned to face me saying,

"My name's Eric."

One by one, the people around me began introducing themselves, not one asking about Violet, my family's death or my ability. This atmosphere was exactly like the one back in my old, I never wanted to experience that again, yet here I was experiencing it. Abruptly standing up, I looked towards my classmates,

"If you could all fuck off, that would be much appreciated."

This gave an instant shock to almost the entire class. As they stood there, unmoving with their somewhat frightened expressions, I left the classroom without breathing another word. Walking along the hallway, I felt a heavy burden along my shoulders.

"That wasn't very nice Marcus."

It was Jordan, standing beside me with his arm slung around my shoulder like we were friends, to me he was only a guide to be used then discarded.

"Why should I care about them" I questioned.

"You should care, friends are really important you know." Jordan responded, with a serious tone.

Ignoring him, I focused more on my empty stomach.

"Is there a cafeteria?" I asked.

"Of course there is, plus not only is the food free, you can order whatever you want and they'll make it." Jordan smiled.

How long would I have to put up with Jordan? Here I was in a brand new world with so many opportunities to indulge, yet I was stuck studying and playing pretend friends. How long I would be complaining to myself was something only God knew.

The cafeteria was massive, with a building all to itself, with rows upon rows of tables with chandlers dangling from the ceilings. Jordan walked towards one of many counters which seemed to be the food distributors. The line was short, same with the other lines and only around a quarter of the cafeteria was full.

"I'll have spaghetti Bolognese." He told the lady managing the counter.

"I'll have Curry Chicken Rice." I followed up on.

In a short five minutes our food was prepared. We headed sat on an empty table, just the two of us.

"So, how do you like the school?" Jordan asked.

"Shut up, I'm trying to eat." I responded with a hint of anger.

"You know, next class is PE, which means we'll be practicing our abilities." Jordan spoke.

This put a smile on my face, finally something fun to do. Perhaps from this lesson I'll have a better understanding of my ability or better yet, be able to fully control it, although I shouldn't get my hopes up.

As we ate in silence, surrounded by the chatter of students I noticed a figure beside me. Looking up I saw Eric, the boy who sat next to me and had helped me out.

"Hey Marcus, I know you're having a hard time and everything so I think we should be friends." Eric smiled.

Jordan smiled as well, although he tried to hide it through a mouthful of spaghetti Bolognese.

"Hard time, far from it. The only time I'll have a hard time is when you try to be all goody towards me, which annoys me." I spoke with clam tone.

"Listen Marcus, I really want to be your friend. I want to help you!" Eric pleaded.

"Fuck off." I showed anger in my tone, and looked him straight in the eyes, which made Eric flinch a little.

Jordan swallowed and looked as if he was about to say something, until a slam vibrated the table we sat on. Standing beside Eric, fist on the table was a student I hadn't seen before; he was taller than all of us with a muscular build.

"Hey, you don't have to get all pissy. He's just trying to help you, you should be grateful" He spoke.

Changing my gaze to him, I looked him in the eyes and responded,

"Why should I be grateful for something I don't want? I already told him I didn't want his friendship, which means he should respect my decision and go away."

The tall boy started to grow angry, eyes turning fierce. I saw this as an opportunity, an opportunity to have some fun.

"Tell you what; let's have a match ability user to ability user. If you win then I'll apologise for my rude behaviour." I smiled.

His anger seemed to have lessen from my words,

"Interesting, and if I lose what happens then?" He replied.

"Then you'll do as I say and fuck off."

"I see. During next lunch break then, at the gymnasium. I'll go get the permission for it now." He smiled, walking off.

Eric gave me a saddened looked, and then walked off. Jordan gave a huge sigh along with a look of disappointment,

"Why are you picking fights on your first day?" He questioned.

"Because, why not?" I smiled.

"I'm pretty sure his name Is Chris, a rank 3 Eleusis, but no ability."

"Good, then this'll be easy." I grinned.

"Don't get cocky. Anyone from our class can beat you to a pulp without even trying. Eleusis are stronger than you think. Same goes for rank 3's." He gave me a serious expression.

Jordan, once again sighing left the table, leaving his dishes behind. The bell soon began to ring, most likely signifying the start of classes. Retracing the path we took to get to the cafeteria, I made my way towards class.

Opening the door to the class, I found the classroom to be empty, not a single person in sight. Confused, I scanned the hallway for anyone, student or teacher. Eric appeared, running through the hallway wearing white black sneakers, dark blue sport shorts and a white shirt with the school's symbol on the right side chest.

"Hey Marcus, I knew you'd be here when I didn't see you at the changing rooms." Eric shouted.

"Follow me; I'll take to you to the changing rooms."

"No need. We've probably wasted enough time. Just take me to class." I spoke.

"Oh, okay. Well let's hurry."

Eric began running, which I too began doing. Eric ran at an unbelievable pace, fast enough to be in the Olympics, I tried my best to keep up, feeling my energy drastically leave me. After five minutes of nonstop running, we found ourselves in a gymnasium which was mostly empty. I was exhausted, taking deep breaths while Eric seemed to be unfazed not even so much as dropping a sweat.

The class looked towards our direction as we entered, as well as Mr.Klew. I was presenting myself in a humiliating fashion, hands on my knees with sweat pouring down. Some of the students began giggling at my pitiful state.

"Since you guys are here, we can start." Mr.Klew spoke.

"Everyone, twenty laps around the gym."

And like that the class began jogging around the gym in unison. Eric joined, which I did too after a few seconds of rest. The whole class ran at a pace just as fast as Eric, some even faster. Not bothering with trying to prove myself I ran at my own pace which was slow compared to theirs.

After the laps, sit up's, push up's, chin up's and planking soon came after. Seemingly ten minutes later, I was exhausted lying on the ground with almost no energy left. My classmates all seemed to be normal, a little bit of sweat but that was all.

"Marcus, go outside and take a breather. You can sit out for the rest of the class." Mr.Klew said.

I didn't utter a single complain, I was satisfied with not doing anymore exercises. Leaving the gym, I noticed a tap, only around 50m's away in the distance. As the cool water splashed my face, I instantly cooled down, my physical condition improving ever so slightly.

In the normal world I was by no means non-athletic, in fact in my old school I was considered the most athletic and fit person in the school. But this wasn't my old school; this school was filled with super humans who're considered even by their own kind as strong.

Angered by this, I threw a punch at a nearby wall, causing my knuckles to slowly drip blood. I wasn't a super human, not yet anyway. What I needed was practice, and then even more practice. I'll definitely lose to Chris, but at least I'll gain some experience.

"Are you an idiot? Punching the wall like that." A voice spoke.
Looking to my left, a stunning blonde haired girl stood wearing a golden dress, sunlight behind her giving her the appearance of an angel. If I remember correctly, her name was Eurasia, a girl in my class. That reminded me that I hadn't seen her participate in the PE class.

"Yeah I'm an idiot. The biggest idiot you'll find out there." I grinned.

"Well, Mr.Idiot, you should go to the infirmary. Seeing as you've only been here for one day, you're powers are probably still weak. You're regenerative ability is, right now extremely slow."

"Something like this doesn't need to be made into a huge fuss. I don't need treatment, I'll live"

"Suite yourself, my name's Eurasian Bloom."

"Well, I'm sitting out lessons cause I don't even have a quarter of strength those guys have. What about you?" I asked.

"I don't need the lesson. I might be a rank 4 on paper but I'm probably stronger than all the rank 5's in this school."

"What makes you think that? I've only been here a little over two hours, but this school is full of monsters. You sure you're not underestimating them?" I questioned.

"I'm sure. Everyone in this school knows it, including teachers. I just never took the advancement for rank 5." She spoke with so much pride within her voice.

"Everyone in this school? You must be very strong then."

"I am. But it's not only that, I'm a child of the Bloom household, one of the seven royal families."

"So I'm in the presence of royalty, should I bow or something?" I spoke with a somewhat playful tone.

Eurasia gave a small chuckle "So you're not the evil person you make yourself out to be."

"Once upon a time I was I only cared about myself. But now I probably still am a cold-hearted person, only a little bit softer."

"Well Mr.Idiot slash Cold-hearted guy, I hope you enjoy the rest of your period. I'm off to study."

Giving me a small wave, which I didn't return, she disappeared into the distance. Resting on the ground, eyes towards the vast blue sky, I felt very much at peace. After a long while of resting, the bell began to ring, slowly students began to pour out enjoy their lunchtime. For me, now was the time to have my anticipated match with Chris. Looking at my knuckles I was surprised to see that it had, letting out a small smile, I made my way to the gymnasium which my class just had their lesson in.

Entering, all the students were gone, leaving only a lukewarm room with blue mats laid out on the floor and Mr.Klew standing outside of the blue mats.

"Hey Marcus, I'll be referee for your match so that no one gets hurt."

"You mean so that I don't get my ass kicked, don't you?"

This earned a slight tick in Mr.Klew, perhaps anger? He didn't respond to my insult directed towards myself. Slowly, the gymnasium began to be filled with students with each passing moment, all awaiting the match. How many people knew about the match anyway?

A few minutes of waiting and Chris finally showed up, wearing what looked like a white karate uniform with a black bet around his waist.

"Showing off?" I asked.

"This is proper combat attire. Unlike you're dirty casual clothes."

Looking down I realised that my clothes were covered in dust and dirt, it was dirty. Taking my shoes off, I stood on the blue mat, Chris facing directly at me. He was at least a head taller than me, which a much better physical condition than me as well as his natural ability of increased strength.

"So these are the rules, no using you're special ability. The match ends when one surrenders or when I see fit, okay?" Mr.Klew spoke.
Chris nodded, which I did too.

"Alright, you may begin." Mr.Klew announced.

Instantly Chris charged, firing a fist straight to my face. His speed was incredible; unable to react I took a punch to the face which sent me tumbling to the ground. Blood began gushing out of my nose.

"Get up. I'm not even using my enhanced strength."

If what he said was true, then if he were to use his ability I wouldn't even last a second, but since he wasn't I may still have a chance. Standing up I shot two fast fists which Chris was able to easily dodge and counter with a hard hit to the gut. This was my chance to get deal some damage, with him up close I shot my knee straight into his stomach which I immediately followed up with a right hook to the face. Although I landed two successful blows which would have knocked almost any normal person out, Chris seemed unfazed as if it didn't even tickle. Grabbing me by the waist he lifted me high into the air then slammed me straight on to the mats. My body felt like shit, pain aching throughout my body it felt as if it would break at any second.

I was getting crap beaten out of me, normally people would feel utterly humiliated or angered, but for some reason I felt a sensation within me, one I hadn't felt in a while. It was joy, joy of having a fight that I would lose joy of facing an opponent like that. Unable to continue this excitement lying down, I stood up raising my fists up taking a boxing stance.

Dashing forward, I threw a fist which Chris easily dodged. He followed up with a fist of his own but despite its speed I was able to dodge it by only inches. In his brief millisecond of surprise I landed a left hook to his cheek as well as getting a good right kick into his ribs. This time my attack seemed to have dealt damage as Chris made a pained sound. This was short lived however; Chris shot a quick jab to the face which I was able to again dodge by mere inches. At the same time as this I felt a crack from my middle body along with a painful feeling. Chris had secured a right punch to the ribs successfully breaking a rib.

Despite the cracked rib, despite the exhaustion, despite the pain throughout my body I felt a smile crawl towards my face. This seemed to scare Chris as he backed away, trying to make some distance between us. Still smiling, I wiped my nose cleaning the blood flowing out. Staring at the blood covering my hand I remembered during the battle with Violet I was able to create a strange sphere with something red, was it my blood? This was no time to be thinking, Chris came dashing towards me, in reflex swung my arm through the air in a horizontal line making droplets of blood fly out. The droplets in an instant seemed to make a sort of whip; Chris raised his arm in defence but was cut.
Blood came streaming out from his wounds on both arms. He began to groan in pain, this was my ability controlling blood.

"What are you doing?" Mr.Klew shouted, jumping on to the mats facing me.

"No abilities. You're going to be given severe punishment Marcus." He continued shouting.

I couldn't care less about some stupid punishment; instead joy was bursting inside of my body. Who could stop me? My ability was able to hurt the supposed powerful monster, violet and was able to cut through human flesh with just a few droplets. It may not look like the best ability, but it still seemed all powerful to me.

"Are you even listening Marcus? You may be new to this school, but those who disobey the rules are dealt with according with strict discipline."

"Shut up." I spoke.

"What?" he questioned.

"I said shut up. We're going to continue our match so get out of the way." I said in a cruel tone.

Droplets of blood began to rise up, floating in the air around me, a spectacular view. Mr.Klew looked in shock as the droplets began shifting into what seemed to be needles, most likely able to pierce skin. Smiling, I imagined it puncturing Chris, killing him in the process. During this though, I felt a weird feeling, a feeling of regret? Before I could think more on this everything had become dark, as if everything had instantly disappeared.
