About Halloween!!
On a windless chilly night

When the sun's glow has faded

Little monsters come out to play

Rustling up the yellow and brown leaves

That rained down from the trees

Who have long since drifted to sleep

As they run about

Casting a shadow from a flicking street light

The form is warped

Its bare branches stretch out into the dark sky

They become arms on the silhouette

Hands that burst out from a shadowy world

A raven lands on a hand

Gazing out over the street filled with ghouls

Their chatter breaking through the silentness

Orange faces with wicked firely grins and eyes

Radiant light for the darkened porches

Awaiting the night's visters

Three goblins slowly climb the stairs

The door bell rings and is soon answered

With a smile the creatures shout,

"TRICK OR TREAT!"
