Does T.J. have to choose between his old life and his new life
"You make me crazy," T.J. yelled to his best friend, who quickly replied, "You were crazy long before you met me!" T.J. reflected on that for a minute. His friend was quite right. Before they became close, T.J. was a loner.

The last three years had been amazing in some ways and heartbreaking in others. In that period, his fiancée left him and he lost touch with all his old friends. Conversely, he had surfed in Hawaii, which he had dreamed about since he was five. He had taken that African safari that he had been reading about since before he could remember. He had traveled the continental U.S. extensively as well, visiting all of the places on his bucket list including Mt. Rushmore, the Smithsonian and even Yellowstone. Each had been as magnificent as he had always imagined. Now, he was living the good life. The weather was picture perfect and T.J. had few worries. It was only recently that he had somewhat settled and allowed himself to open up, albeit to just one friend.

Now T.J. couldn't believe what his friend was saying. He was suggesting that T.J. give this up and go back to his "old" life. This had been a frequent topic recently. T.J. was growing frustrated with this discussion. He knew he was acting childish, but he didn't care. He turned to his best friend and yelled at the top of his lungs...

The doctor stood over him, chart in hand. He was skeptical. On one hand, his most trusted nurse swore that she heard him. On the other hand, it seemed highly unlikely that his patient who hadn't opened his eyes in three years would suddenly speak. As he turned to leave the room, he was startled to hear

"You are driving me crazy!"
