a simple poem dedicated to each and every mother
Like the flowing sea
Is your love
With vast affection
And care for us
Your heart hurts
At our illness
And still you pretend
You suffer no sickness
The sweat off your brow
Has all the tension that shows
Your love will never end
Your care will never pretend
For me you are an idol
And for others an ideal
Stay with me forever
Because that’s what I pray for
And that is the care I love
And the love for which I care
