It tells of someone who was pretending to be something they aren't.
Disguise

The sun shines in my eyes,

As I finally remove my disguise.

I will let them see,

Who I am truly meant to be.

By my surprise,

I never needed my disguise.

They like me for me,

And dismiss who I was trying to be.
