we are time's fruit
Youth is an unripened fruit
with their bitter bite
and their tough skins.
To pick them early
would be to ruin what
could become.

Only as they ripen
with their succulent sweets
and their sun bathed bodies.
Full of time's gifts
which turn them to
Life's treasures on it's
keeper tree.
