The colors I felt for him
Yellow
The sun through my eyelids on the rug where we laid
The dress I wore the day you first called me beautiful
Happiness

Blue
Your eyes, full of pride and contentedness
The feeling that I'm walking on nothing, waiting for the ground to crumble
Scared

Pink
My cheeks when I hear the whispers
The box for the first month
Scrutinized

Green
You pushed my head onto your shoulder
Held my hand too tight
I realized I had to let you go

Red
My hair in the sunlight as I walked away
The "Message Cancelled" alert on my phone
Over

Gray
The sky as I walk quickly past
Reaching out tentatively, to jerk away as though burned
Watching you hold her hand
Nothing
