A girl has just woken up from being unconscious
“This is so confusing,” I said as I lay in the bed of a sterile dark room. I looked around the room to see if I recognized anything but I didn’t. Lying in the dark room I tried to sit up but my back hurt so bad I feel back into the bed. I tried to go back to sleep but a women came walking into the room. I didn’t recognize the lady but she reassured me that I know who she was and that I will soon remember. As I lay there I stared at the lady and I started to notice features that look familiar. I started to have flashbacks of her and I playing together in a green field that was guarded by a tall wooden fence. When I cleared my head and focused back into the sterile room there was another lady standing over top of me, studying me very closely. She told me that she was the doctor and that she will be taking care of me for as long as I am in this room. The lady must have noticed my questioning face because she told me I was in here for a very good reason, she told me I was in a very bad car accident and had been asleep for almost a month. Again as I lay there I started to remember things. I told her that I vaguely remember the care accident and what had happened to me. I turned my head to look at the other lady and that’s when it all happened. She was my mother; I started to cry because I felt bad for not remembering who she was. She came walking over to me and started to comfort me. I am ready to leave this cold dark place I thought.
