This is a poem I made yesterday. Hope you enjoy.
My biggest fear is with all the pretty girls and the silly smiles
Your heart is one beat away from being stolen.

My biggest fear is that you'll grow weary and tired
Not just of me but of all the things you loved and admired.

My biggest fear is that one day I won't be enough to make you laugh
I'll just be another girl that got left behind on the path.

Because lust and betrayal follow closely behind each corner
Waiting for the beaten down and the newly declared mourner.

With the wayward glances and eyes that go astray when the "Angel" pounces, I'm afraid your heart will be her prey.

And not the prey that is lucky enough to escape her claws
But the heart that slowly crumbles under the pressure of her jaws.

My biggest fear is waking up and knowing the "Angel" won
And that I'm now just the one who guessed I'd never keep your love.

The hardest part of dreaming is the chance it might come true.
So no room for nightmares in me, only dreams that I keep you.

But in my dreams I'm losing who I've come to hold so dear
The biggest part of who I am, and that is my only fear.
