apology to my dreams
Apology

There you go,
tethered no longer.
But, I am ready to wait for aeons
my dreams .... come back younger!

Go to the valley,
fly with the magpies.
But, as you cherish those redolent memories
my dreams, keep them for me .....please.

Enjoy the pristine hills,
soaked in its sublime sunset sky.
But, send back with the dawn's clouds
a few iridescent hues that you imbibe.

Listen to the melodies of the cascades,
don't shy away seeing them agile.
But, vibrant are they...
so please, let those eventually be mine.

Speak to the swaying trees,
scale their heights.
But, bring me the music
that the zephyr scores in its stride.

Kids romping in the tree-shades,
make you gleam and shine.
But, as you dance with their steps
please allow the vibes to also be mine.

Betrayed you .... that I don't deny,
my dreams ... believe me .... you were always mine!
But, forgive me ... pray here I,
give me a final chance to live a life, and not die.
