Why is she special to me?
Why is she special to me? She asked me that tonight. I answered with a very brief answer, but I could have expanded upon my reason. You see my girl has work in a few hours and I wanted her to sleep. I have been up all night, but I can assure you it's because of her. The moon is very dear to me. She has been my friend for a while. This is soon to change, but I must go through the proper steps to reach my Valhalla.
I still haven't answered my opening question. Words really do her no justice. She is beyond words. I still have to try to be the wordsmith she knows I am. Buttercup, I will try to construct an answer that fills your wanting heart with the love it needs. Do not be upset if I fail.

Take a picture of space. Can you see the brightest stars? Take a picture of a rainbow. Can you see the lively colors? The answer to both is yes. Take a picture of the Moon. Do you see the future? Do you see her loving heart? Do you see the stars gathered all around her? Do you see yourself standing next to her on wedding day? This is why you're special. I see the future waiting to happen when I look at you. I feel your loving heart beating strongly towards our joyous day. I feel your hands gripping mine. I feel them sweating pretty bad. I can picture your blushing to be immense. I can feel our kiss securing a future together.
Why is she special to me? She is my wife. We just haven't caught up with our future together. Ashley Brooke Kirby, I love you.
This is the first time I used your name in my writing. I am sure you will get chills like nothing else. My goal is not to please my reviewers. I really want you to understand that I do not use words lightly. Words do you no justice. I hope my actions will back up everything. My Moon, there honestly is no other like you. You have been special to me for the longest time. You will remain that way for the eternities we face together.
