One head, many bodies.

This is an interactive story. Each chapter tells part of the story and often ends with multiple choices. Make a choice and move to the next chapter in your story. When you reach a chapter that hasn't been written yet, don't be shy... make an addition!

So a while back I discovered the weird world of headswap stories here on Writing.com, and decided that I wanted in. I've always found stories of body-switching to be both frightening and attractive at the same time, and the 'head swap' angle provided an interesting new take that I couldn't resist. So I thought I'd start my own, and see where it goes.

General Outline

Basically, the main character finds themselves in a vaguely Quantum Leap-style situation, where they travel from body to body. The exact specifics of how this works and why it happens are up to you. Other characters may end up 'traveling' along with them, if you like. Non-human swaps are also welcome.

There are four characters to choose from in the beginning, but you should feel free to create others if you wish. (I try to give equal representation to males and females, as I believe the latter are under-represented in this genre, but that's just me. Create whatever characters you like.) The four starting characters are:

Jake Matthews, 48

Sarah Thierau, 35

Gary Martinsberg, 20

Chelsea Taylor, 16

As I said, there will be options to create other characters, and more could be added to an existing storyline as well. Beyond that, it's pretty much anything goes. See you on the other side (of the link)!
