I felt angry and needed to vent. It is a common feeling to feel isolated.
Not one damn person understands
Not women, child or man
I am expected to finish this race
I can’t correlate
What pain trips the rails beneath me?
Are there wings to life me?

I have believed
Struggled to see
Gave myself to peace
Denied the rage
Bent back the bars of the cage

Still I always find
The white noise in my mind
And a room that echoes the tone
Of music when the dancers are gone

Talk me away and I will flee
But standing, running, or crawling
I will still be right here
Playing the part of being me
