This is just the begining, if you want more of it, just ask!
I walked in the door, and heard the jingle of a bell. I stare in awe at the assortment of candy and treats. Some were on shelves, some on display. Some were even in jars! All of it looked endless all of it I wanted. While enticed by the grand confections, I barely felt the tapping on my shoulder. I looked to my left, and groaned in annoyance.
“Come on Frisk, enjoy the scenery. “ I invited. He walked up to my right, and stared down the bins and bins of jelly beans. A smile crept onto my face, and I walked closer to the beans. I opened the bin marked ‘Lime’, and snagged two green candies.
“Here, one for you, and one for me,” I said as I gave him a bean. His face lit up as he savored the taste of the sour citrus, now sweet. I popped mine into my mouth, enjoying the taste as much as Frisk.
I glanced over to mom, and she stared right into my soul through narrowed eyes. She abandoned what she was doing, and started walking toward us.
“Um, F-Frisk… I think mom saw us” I stuttered. He turned around and a look of terror flashed across his face. With every step, my anticipation increased.
“Oh man, this is bad! Umm… what to say, what to say?” I thought, “Yes, I got it!”
Frisk started to back up slowly as mom was right there, in front of us, angry. I backed up to Frisks level and grabbed his hand.
“Don’t worry, I got this,” I whispered.
Mom just stood there, looking at us. After what seemed like forever, she finally asked, “What was that all about?”
Frisk looked down, his face covered by his brown hair. He wore a striped blue and purple sweater and jeans that were a little too big for him. I squeezed his hand a bit, reassuring him. I let go, and bravely approached mom. Oh, gosh, was I nervous.
“Here we go.” I thought.
“Well, mom… I-I… they fell on the ground… and I, um… picked them up, because of the five second rule… and, um… they still t-tasted good and me and Frisk ate them because, um… we don’t w-waste food.” I blurted.
I looked over at Frisk for some backup, but I got a facepalm as a reply.
“Well,” mom said, “I see… I understand, my child. Please, we must go. I have Butterscotch-Cinnamon pie cooking.”
My face brightened, and we walked out of the candy shop.
