Octavia finds herself shipwrecked on an island with cannibals
She climbed the tree to get a better view, but what she saw frightened her even more.

She woke up and he could hear water lapping against her hair. She woke up and, rubbing her eyes, looked about her. A beach complete with palm trees, sapphire - blue water, and gritty sand below her.

Where am I?

She stood up and brushed herself off. Octavia. That's my name.

Octavia began to walk towards the edge of the sand and the dirt near a grove of palm trees. Suddenly she felt very parched but she knew that she shouldn't drink the sea water. No, definitely not. Octavia was wearing no shoes and the only clothes she was wearing was a plain white dress which was sopping wet. Uh!

The dirt on her bare feet felt terrible but she knew that she'd need to get used to it since she had no other feet coverings. She followed a small trampled path through the forest, careful not to step on anything that appeared dangerous. Soon she came into a clearing and looked into the dazzling sky. A tall, weird looking tree dominated her field vision. It had many footholds and she could climb up there to see where she should head to.

She climbed the tree to get a better view, but what she saw frightened her even more that the height at which she was standing in the branch. There, a few hundred feet from the base of her tree was a small village with a bunch of people milling about. They all had paint on themselves and were all spattered in a red liquid. I wasn't alone on this island!

And then it hit me! That red liquid was blood!

Her eyes drifted to a tent which the blood was spilling from and she heard screams come from within it. The yells emanating from the tent scared a bunch of birds from her tree. Then out of the tent came a very obese man who was gnawing on a human leg!

Cannibals!

She climbed down from the trees, and ran towards the beach. She waited there on the beach for many hours until the night.

She rested on the sand, but was quickly awoken by running feet. She stared from my hiding spot and saw a boy of about my age running from two of the cannibals. She grabbed a large branch next to her that was a planned weapon if needed and stood. The boy tripped, and by then she was on her feet. The cannibals caught up to the boy and with one snap of my branch both had clocked on the back. One fell over and the other was tackled by the boy. I kicked the fallen cannibal in the stomach, and the boy threw sand in his cannibal's face. He then found a vine on the ground and tied them together.

"Thanks for that," he said.

"No problem," Octavia said.

"When did you get here?" he asked.

"This morning. I don't really remember anything. Just waking up on the beach."

"Oh," he said, deep in thought, "come with me. I have a place I hide from those monsters."

They ran through the jungles and arrived at a dilapidated shack covered by undergrowth. They entered and were met by a cozy interior. A roaring fire and an older woman sitting in a rocking chair.

"Where were you?" the woman said.

"I was kidnapped, mam."

"You were what?"

"Kidnapped."

She sighed. "Those things," she spat. "And this dearie saved you?"

"Yes, mam."

Suddenly the woman rose and shuffled over to Octavia. "Bless you. You've saved my son."

"Well, I escaped first, mam."

"You don't know when to shut your trap boy, do you?"

"Well, mam, I -"

His words were cut off, because at that moment, the door was busted down and in the cannibals ran.
