Judging without knowing the full story just makes us blind.
I used to see a statuesque saint
Who knew allegiance nor lord.
Yet the scales were done away with
Or the weight on both ignored.
'Tis now an unholy matrimony
Between the mask and the sword:
The blind and the violent
In judgemental accord.
Beneath the ocular cloth lie
Many floored and gored.
You have become a sinister symbol,
Sacred no more.
