I recognize the search for love in this poem, but also more than a touch of cold feet. The first stanza speaks of unknown lands while the fourth implies that the narrator might not have the courage or maturity to face everything he's hoping or expecting to find.
The longing and anticipating tones of the piece balance each other out well, and the poem has some really strong lines (e.g. second stanza). If I may nitpick, the sudden shift in imagery away from the garden metaphor seems out of place, but you did salvage it with a Wonderland reference. Greatly enjoyed!
