I might turn this into a song sometime but for now it's just poetry
I looked into the mirror
And I didn't see me
I looked into the mirror
And I finally felt free

Free of expectations
Free of thoughts and cares
Free of degradation
Free of empty prayers

I looked at my reflection
And reflected on how
Everything seemed to change
When I didn't change a thing

They told me I wasn't perfect
They said I was too small
Too fat, too ugly
To be anything at all

But I didn't change a thing
And finally I'm free
And you know something
I don't care what you think of me
