I wrote this poem to spread happiness.
You are not the number on the scale
Or the color of your hair
You are not your age
Nor the brand of the clothes you wear
You are not the money you possess
Or the brand of your car
You are not the size of your dress
Or who people say you are
You are not your name
Or the freckles on your cheek
You’re the things that you read
And the words that you speak
You are the silly faces you make
And the secrets you hide
You are every shining smile
And every tear you’ve cried
You are your crazy
And the sweetness in your voice
But if I could define you, if I had that choice
From all the things listed above
The thing you are the most is the person that I love
