I used to be the twinkle in his eye. Now I'm not even worth the breath of goodbye.
Your words cut deep into my heart,
Deeper and deeper, tearing me apart.

Replaying our last visit in my head,
Analyzing every word that you said.

Your words of love are far from my mind,
For .... I didn't know a fathers love could be timed.

Deceased are memories of the times you held me,
It's written in your eyes "daughter you've failed me."

You are disapproving, but put on a good act,
You still don't believe me and ignore all the facts.

You left me cold, abandoned and alone,
But I can understand now that I'm grown.....

This is no fault I can claim,
No matter how I change, you'll still treat me the same.

All the time I was under her, a dreadful life,
Considering I lived in the shadow of your wife.

I hope you're happy with her and your other kids,
Because you lost your little girl to all of this.
