The Proposal

Never have I wanted so much
To softly caress your cheek
Desperate to kiss you softly
Feeling my knees grow weak

Never have I wanted so much
To gently stroke your hair
Together our hands locked tightly
Our eyes in a forever stare

Never have I wanted so much
For you to be my whole life
Whisper to me sweet nothings
Please be my darling wife
