I don't know if this is the right place to ask this but here goes. Let me know if I should ask this somewhere else.
I've been thinking about writing a fiction serial. The idea is that each episode will be a diary entry. Each episode will start with 'Dear Diary:'.
The story that unfolds is of a teenage guy who went through a traumatic event when he was younger. The diary is a way for him to cope with the trauma and hopefully relieve him of the nightmares that haunt him.
His interest in a girl (no surprise there) has forced him to face the secrets that have haunted him for years.
So my question is: Is this a good vehicle for telling a story? (i.e. story told through diary entries) Thanks for any advise, for or against this idea.

The Story Master is of course the ultimate authority on WdC. Since you are here, epistolary accounts have been used successfully in the past. See: Diary of Ann Frank. I wrote something in a similar style but with everything written in a single entry.
"Be Careful What You Tell Your Kids" 
The Screwtape Letters in another famous example. Heck, the Bible has a bunch of that.
I say, go for it. Send a day or two to me to review when you finish them and I'll be happy to look at it.
