-- . - .- .-..
Relinquishing humanity,
From items of profanity,
Through twisting corridors,
Of calming insanity

"A cacophony of triggered blasts,
Repelled their advance,
Crippled by divinity,
And trampled by a melody of ants,
They fell deaf,
To a chorus of vanity"

Staining throats with bitter notes,
And fueling their depravity,
As engines thrash with metal cries,
Fumes clot the weakened skies,
With chemical equations,
And troubling invasions,
Of self

Taciturn and knocking at another door,
Filling homes with countless scores,
Of broken thugs,
Plaintive drugs,
And holograms of corporate whores,
Trained in only metaphors,
Feeding bits of spinal cord,
To growling hordes,
Of jaded lords,
In ziggurats with gilded floors

So perilous,
This pathway,
Steeped in violent disarray,
Bleeding at the seams,
But gnashing tanks to bits,
With lips of grey,
Urging peace,
Though staunch release,
Plagues its dreams,
Still out of reach,
Today...
