How love and medicine can be harmful

Love and pain killers, these two things are similar in so many ways. Pain killers can help a wounded person become better, it numbs the pain and love can do the same. But just like a drug it does have side effects. Pain killers can have a once wounded person become more wounded in time making them addicts. The person can start to feel as though that's the only thing they need to survive, and love is the same exact way. But what if these things were taking away. The person will go through withdrawals such as: an emotion wreck, hopelessness, low self-esteem, maybe even depressing. So, how can these two things that is supposed to make you feel better destroy a person at the same time? Is it even worth it? So many people search high and low for a certain person, so they can fall in love. Why is love so important to people? Maybe because it's the society we live in, a person is born and trained to love even when it causes them physical, mental or emotional pain. Love is a drug, an addictive drug at that. Will you go without or take the dosage?
