This poem is about giving in to love.
One slip- One look beyond my sight,
I let my bleeding heart think twice.
How and Why?
A Second passed by,
My love, so secluded. It knew in no time.
It took but mere moments through so much denying,
My tongue became frozen, I felt it arise,
I realized-
I had let myself die,
I developed a hatred, so weary of life,
My heart had split open, and bled itself dry.
Compassion was emptied, from too many tries.
I swallowed my pride,
Then said my good-bye’s,
And gave up the notion that love could survive.
My soul was so hardened, it jumped with surprise,
When I pictured myself, looking into your eyes.
Silence, NO LIES~*
