anticipating nightfall and le cour.
the dog skakes its coat
meditations and blesings
fill the empty room
it's to rain out tomorrow
twilight decends on the grass
in the yard, where I will be
while it is raining
digging in the dirt by the flowers
planningmy way home
these garden walls are
decorated with wheels and hubcaps
an arrow pointed up to the sky
as we are all here,
raspberry bush
milkweed
empty can
budding gladiolas
mud and ants
the dog
and cl. kidder-sparrow
returning from
the war
or, last nights dreams.
